About Me

My name is Philip Lindsey. I’m a full-time thinker, often over thinker, and the author of this blog.

Chances are you are on this page because you want to know more about me. Nobody is really good at talking about themselves but here goes.

I’m a bit of a nerd. I enjoy reading and learning. I can be extremely opinionated. Sometimes to a fault, depending on who you ask. I’m always seeking new experiences and ways to express myself. I also believe in helping others when I can and sharing information. All of those qualities inspired me to start this blog.

I consider myself an artist. I have dabbled in photography, sound editing, music, animation and I draw in my spare time. I love music. One of my many passions is listening to, sharing and talking about music. So you can expect me to reference music, a lot. One of my favorite genres is rap. The title of the blog is a play on two rap songs, Murals by Lupe Fiasco and Lyrics to Go by A Tribe Called Quest. That’s how I came up with Murals to Go or…Murals for Thought.

Now that you know those things, I’m sure your next question is why are you here. Good question. I’ll let you in on a secret. I don’t really have an answer yet. This is a new experience for me and I’m inviting you to join me on this journey. I will do my best to give you my insights, opinions, and hopefully food for thought. My goal is to make this what fellow Chicago native, Kanye West, coined…a Thank You and You’re Welcome.
